Parramatta Winterlight is a fun winter adventure held at Alfred Square in the amazing city of Parramatta, just 25kms west from Sydney.

Ice-skating sessions run for 45 minutes each and the kid’s sessions run for 20 minutes each. Parents are not permitted to skate on the kid’s rink but can accompany their child onto the ice with shoes at no additional cost.
There will also be fun carnival rides to enjoy and kids will love a ride on the huge Ferris wheel located here. There will be plenty of live entertainment including ice-skating shows, DJ sets and live musical performances. There will also be buskers, painters and dancers.
There will be plenty of food and drinks to enjoy with warm winter treats on offer including soup, wood-fired pizza, Indian curries, as well as poffertjes.
You can get to Winterlight by taking a train and alighting at Parramatta Station. Prince Alfred Square is a 15-minute walk from the station. Alternatively, take a ferry to the Parramatta Ferry Terminal, which is a short 10-minute walk away. If coming by car, there is parking available at the car parks located within 2 blocks of Alfred Square.
