Food lovers will also be excited to know that the show offers an exciting range of food and drink stalls. Each stall offers award-winning produce, regional wines, finger food and homemade desserts. Furthermore, the show offers cooking workshops and engaging programs for adults and kids alike.
Kids also love getting showbags with chocolates, lollies, toys, costumes for the kids and a range of cooking, fashion and sports showbags for adults.
Entry to the Show includes a massive range of free activities, including access to the Reptile Show, the bunny hopping competition on Good Friday, a daily stage show, plus two hours of free parking.
Attendees can purchase either individual ride tickets or unlimited ride vouchers. There are plenty of rides for little kids, such as a mini-pirate ship, jungle bounce and swinging chairs. For bigger kids and adults, rides include a Haunted House, Storm Chairs, Carousel and Dodgem Cars.
So bring your family and friends to the Sydney Family Show and have a fun day!
Do you need to pre-book entry tickets or can they be purchased on the day?
Hi Natalie,
Looking at the ticket information on the official website, it states that tickets are available at the gate, but they recommend pre-purchasing to avoid disappointment.
I am not sure what the said disappointment is, but my guess is that they recommend this for quicker entry and not having to wait in line – that or there may capacity limits they have to abide by.
When buying tickets online, you can select what times you wish for the rider wristband to be valid (if you are looking to do that), so it’s likely there is capacity limits on the rides if they are trying to spread people throughout the day.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Michael
