Paddy’s Market

Sydney attractions attract visitors in their numbers each year, and this is what makes the city a popular destination. With an endless array of things to do and activities to engage in, it is little wonder that this is one of the best places to visit in Australia. From natural features, to astounding works of engineering, theme parks and art galleries, Sydney awaits your adventures to create the perfect memories.

Iconic attractions that are easily recognizable from any part of the world include The Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera house and the Tower Eye. In addition to these, there are other delightful places to visit such as the Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park, the Blue Mountains National Park for an outdoor adventure as well as the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building.

Dr Chau Chak Wing building stands out as an amazing work of architecture whose design mimics that of a crumpled paper bag and has since received many awards. The building comprises the business school at the University of Technology Sydney.

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy natural attractions such as Cape Solander for its magnificent views, Camp Cove as well as Captain Cooks Landing Place. The latter marks the place where the Captain and his crew landed on arrival in Australia. It is a popular tourist attraction in Kurnell with easy access to the Kamay Botany Bay National Park.

Discover China’s rich culture at Chinatown where you can also shop for authentic stuff from the east – from spices to herbs, trinkets and antiques. While at it, make time to visit the Chinese Garden of Friendship and marvel at the ancient designs inspired by the Chinese way of life.

Planning a day’s getaway from the bustle of the CBD? Make your way to Cockatoo Island or visit the beautiful Cockle Bay Wharf. Experience sun, sand and sea at Newport Beach or opt to frolic in the grassy outdoors at Paddington Reservoir Gardens.

Other Sydney attractions include South Cronulla Beach, Sydney Olympic Park, the Observatory and the Sydney Town Hall. There’s a lot to see and do in this city, so make sure you carry your fun attitude.
