Featherdale Wildlife Park experiences are as varied as the different animal species on location with the opportunity to join the daily zookeeper walkabout. The Daily zookeeper walkabout is a 45-minute fun-packed tour of the park and provides excellent insights into the park’s history.
Private animal encounters are also a great way to get up close with your favourite Australian animal. Private reptile encounters include the bearded dragon, small snakes, large snakes and the shingle-back. If you prefer mammals, close encounters include kangaroos, wallabies, the ringtail possum, wombats and sugar gliders.
These private encounters are inclusive of informative sessions with the animal trainers, a souvenir photo pack as well as a gift bag. For pre-bookings, visitors are required to get in touch for at least 24 hours in advance.
