The Annual Sydney International Bachata Festival is the largest Bachata dance festival and concert in Australia, and the first-ever festival dedicated to this dance.
Local and international dancers perform world-class shows over three days and four nights. It also includes an urban Bachata concert, as well as three days of dancing workshops for individuals interested in learning the Bachata or other Latin dances.

The event attracts individuals who are passionate about the Bachata dance, and it’s the perfect opportunity to learn about it from the talented international instructors who travel to Sydney for the show. Other dances you can learn at the workshop include Kizomba, Zouk, Samba, and Reggaeton, among others.
There are workshops available for beginners to advanced level dancers, with special Master Workshops available although this isn’t included in the full pass. Master Workshops require a separate registration and is only available in limited numbers.
The Annual Sydney International Bachata Festival is famous in the international dance community, which makes it a highly anticipated event each year. Many of the instructors and performers come all the way from the Dominican Republic, home to the most talented Bachateros.
The festival is supported by Latin dance schools throughout Australia; if you’d like your school to participate in the event, you will need to follow the process detailed on the Performers Registration page in the website.
