There are several highlights for all ages to enjoy during the festival. Head over to the Jousting Arena to witness armoured knights riding on horseback in a spectacle reminiscent of this ancient sport.

Learn and get entertained at The Common, which will showcase a range of historical displays, demonstrations, and performances from medieval groups, such as the Normans, Vikings, Saxons, and Saracen. These attractions allow you to learn about these old cultures and the arms and armour they used.

The Field of Honour is where visitors can watch medieval hand combat used by warriors of the time. Stroll through the Medieval Village to take a breather. Attractions for children include Circus Works, the Enviro Craft Children’s Workshop, and the Activity Tent. Here, kids can learn to juggle balls, walk stilts, twirl things, and make their own shields. Free pony and camel rides will be available for kids as well.

Why not participate in the best-dressed competition. All competitors must register at the Information stall before 12 noon each day. A range of products and gift vouchers will be given to the winners of each category: best-dressed male, best-dressed female, best group, best-dressed child male and best-dressed child female. The competition will be held in the Main Jousting Arena at 12:30pm daily.

Throughout the weekend, live music will be performed by talented local acts at the Market Stage. Shop and dine at the Market Place, filled with stalls featuring arts and crafts, food, drinks, jewellery, costumes, and various paraphernalia from medieval times.

On-site at Nurragingy Reserve, there will be a first-aid station, event information area, ATM, parking, and toilets for the disabled. Entrance is free, and Nurragingy Reserve is located at Knox Road in Doonside.
