Blacktown City Medieval Fayre is an annual family festival held at the Nurragingy Reserve over a weekend in May. It is part of the massive Blacktown City Festival.
Once a year, attendees can step back in time to experience life during the historic medieval times.

Watch knights clad in shining armour compete in epic battles of strength, skill, and bravery in stand-up battles and incredible jousting competitions. Riders from all over the country fight for the prestigious title.
Be immersed in the medieval culture through the feathered friends show, medieval displays, combat artillery, handmade arts and crafts, a working Blacksmith and Woodturners village, and medieval-themed food.
Have you considered dressing as a knight or blacksmith in a Renaissance corset or as a medieval maid? Come to the Blacktown City Medieval Fayre in your favourite medieval attire and enter in the Best Dressed competition. On-site at Nurragingy Reserve, there will be a first-aid station, event information area, ATM, parking, and toilets for the disabled.
Free public parking is available at Nurragingy Reserve, entry via Knox Road. Please follow directions from the Traffic Staff. Street parking is also available nearby. It’s recommended that you check maps and plan your visit before arrival.
