Cinema in the Park is an annual outdoor movie event in Ryde, less than half an hour from the Sydney CBD by car.
Various participating parks, such as Anzac Park, Yamble Reserve, and Gannan Park, set up inflatable screens and state-of-the-art sound and visuals for an excellent outdoor movie experience before the cold weather sets in.

Over 2,500 people attend Cinema in the Park each year, making it one of Sydney’s most popular outdoor movie events of the year.
The parks offer street parking and are wheelchair accessible, although smoking is prohibited. For comfort, patrons can bring bean bags, a picnic rug, or low chairs.
It is recommended that you arrive before 5pm to secure a good spot for the movie, which starts around 6pm. Subtitles will be provided for the hearing impaired.
