Meat lovers worldwide will gather at the Sydney Showgrounds for the Meatstock Festival, a three-day festival in April every year.

From the 19th to the 21st of April 2024, Meatstock will be back at the Sydney Showground for its 7th year! The Jack Daniel’s live stage, at the heart of the festival, will host a sensational lineup of musical talent.
Friday – One of Australia’s greatest, best-loved, most enduring rock bands of all time, Hoodoo Gurus, will take the stage with the kings of swagger, You Am I, and Loren Ryan, winner of the Tamworth Toyota Star Maker.
Saturday – ARIA Award-winning artist Casey Barnes, together with Henry Wagons, Karen-Lee Andrews, The Buckleys, Alvarez & Rollan, Big Wheels, Charlie Finn + More.
Sunday – New Zealand’s country music superstar Kaylee Bell, together with Owen Campbell, Brooke Schubert, Billie-Jo Porter, + More.
But Meatstock isn’t just about the music. It’s a celebration of the art of barbecue. Meatstock is home to the biggest lineup of Barbecue Experts and Pitmasters ever assembled in Australia. Phat Boyz Smokehouse, Carolina Smoke, Flaming Grillas, Brisket and Brawn BBQ, Crossdales BBQ, Brazilian Flame, Berbeo Bros, Hangry Wolf, and many more will fill the air with the intoxicating smell of barbecue.
Apart from the meat and music, Meatstock promises an action-packed festival experience. Back again for some heart-pounding thrills, The Professional Bull Riding will be showcasing at all Australian Meatstock events, where cowboys brave the toughest 8 seconds in sports.
For those with a hearty appetite, check out the Competitive Eating Zone, featuring the sausage sizzle throwdown, burger eating contests and hot wing challenges, to name a few.
For some alternative hilarious showdowns, enrol or spectate in the Beard and Mo Wars, Mullet Comps, and Dad Bod Contests. And, of course, Meatstock wouldn’t be complete without its legendary Butcher Wars and Barbecue Wars, along with the ultimate test of strength in Strongman and Woman – showcasing Australia’s mightiest athletes. It’s a mixed bag of eclectic entertainment and stand-offs you cannot see anywhere else.
