The month-long festival boasts a program full to the brim with wine experiences that showcase the Orange cool-climate wine region at its best. With over 50 events in the program, there’s something to delight every taste bud – from seasoned wine aficionados to those just discovering their palate.
Popular events include wine tasting, masterclasses in producing wine, and night markets that feature the best local wines, produce and cuisine that Orange has to offer. Bookings are essential for wine-tasting and masterclasses.
The region is known for its white and red wines, including Chardonnays, Sauvignon Blancs, Riesling Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignons and Pinot Noirs.
Orange is about a 3-hour and 45-minute drive west of the Sydney CBD on the Great Western Highway. Train and bus services are also available to get you there. You can catch a train to Lithgow station on the Blue Mountains line and then take a bus to Orange.
