Vanfest is an annual regional music and arts festival, established to promote community tourism and youth culture. Up and coming artists and international acts alike perform during the event, located in the heart of New South Wales.
The festival takes place over two days during the summer, and it’s a great opportunity to get away from the city. Go on a road trip with friends to catch entertainment acts and enjoy market stalls, pop-up beach bars, thrilling rides, camping, VIP experiences, and much more. The common area is the perfect spot to relax with your mates, while several camping options ensure comfortable accommodations throughout the weekend.
Vendors selling all kinds of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available on-site throughout the weekend. Most guests prefer to during the weekend, but a range of accommodations is also available at the Forbes town centre. Camping facilities include shared toilets and showers, common areas, food stalls, shared free drinking water facilities, and pass outs with a camping wristband. However, keep in mind that it doesn’t include tents, bedding, power outlets, or assistance for packing up your tent. Various camping packages are available for a fee.
Vanfest takes place at the Forbes Showground NSW, around 10 minutes by foot from the town centre. There will be an in-town shuttle transporting guests to and from the event venue and town centre. Although limited, taxis will be available during the weekend. Attendees bringing a car to Vanfest can park on-site, and there will also be a number of parking spots in town. Vehicle campsites are available as well. Tickets are available for patrons aged 16 and up. To enter the venue, attendees will need to bring their ticket as well as one valid form of identification: current Australian driver’s licenses with photo, current passport, government issued proof of age card, or an international driver’s license with photo. Wheelchair access to viewing areas and sanitary facilities will be available.
