The Sydney International Rowing Regatta is a popular sporting event held in March each year where participants from all over Australia compete to win.
Held at the renowned Sydney International Regatta Centre in Penrith, this event is one of the most esteemed and unique sporting events of the region.
This massive regatta is Australia’s largest rowing event which is held over a week and is filled with a huge schedule of racing events. There will be over 100 races scheduled during the week including the Australian Open Rowing Championships, Australian Open Schools Rowing Championships and the King’s and Queen’s Cups Interstate Regatta. For spectators just wanting to get a glimpse of the action, there will be a range of social events scheduled during the festival including conferences, dinners, live entertainment and presentation dinners.
The Sydney International Regatta Centre is around 1 hour west from the Sydney CBD. If coming by train, a shuttle bus will operate between Penrith train station and the Sydney International Regatta Centre. There is plenty of parking available at the Sydney International Regatta Centre.
