The Newcastle 500 is a supercar motor racing event usually held at the Newcastle Street Circuit in November each year.
Attracting thousands of visitors, the Newcastle 500 runs over 3 days with qualifying races that decide the grid for the 250km race which is held on the Sunday.

For visitors attending the race, there are trackside and grandstand tickets available for purchase. Trackside will have you up close to the action and you can also wander along the course to find the best vantage point. Grandstand tickets give the purchaser will guarantee you an undercover seat, to keep you out of the sun, or the rain. Special Pit Lane Walk tickets are also available for those who would like to get a closer look at the supercars taking part in the race.
This is a family-friendly event, and kids under 12 enter free with each adult admission. There will be fun things for kids to enjoy including a jumping castle, face painting live entertainment. Visitors may also be able to get an autograph from their favourite drivers.
Take public transport to get to Newcastle, with Central Coast & Newcastle Line and the Hunter Line passing through the township and the closest station being the Newcastle Interchange. If you are driving to Newcastle, there is paid parking available at Civic West Car Park (King Street) and Harbour Park Car Park (Argyle Street).
