King’s Fest is an annual 2-day festival held in August at the King’s School in Parramatta. Over 30,000 people attend the event each year, and it only continues to grow. It’s open to all ages, and features a wide range of arts, attractions, and entertainment for kids and adults.
Festival goers are treated to a display of over 1,000 kinds of artwork, fine jewellery, gourmet food, an animal far, cartoon characters, carnival rides, market stalls, and more. Kids’ attractions include performances, balloon benders, face painting, side show alleys, and more. Carnival rides start at $5, but whole day passes will also be available. For sports fans and car enthusiasts, the King’s Fest will have a display of classic and vintage British cars at the Supercar Saturday Event. Shop from over 80 market stalls selling a wide array of fashion, kids’ products, health and beauty, gourmet food, home ware, and more.
Traditional High Tea will be served in an English style garden at the historic Gowan Brae house. Sweet and savoury treats, as well as an extensive selection of tea will be presented, served on fine china. Wine tasting passes are available for wine enthusiasts, who are invited to indulge in fine wines from over 20 exhibitors coming from Australia’s best estates. However, the highlight for most attendees is the art, which showcases work from some of Australia’s best artists. Art enthusiasts shouldn’t miss the gala opening nights, where you can mingle with other Sydney residents and artists with canapés and drinks. Various tickets will be required to participate in the different events for the King’s Fest.
The King’s School is located at Pennant Hills Road, North Parramatta, New South Wales.
