Pymble is a suburb located on the upper North Shore of Sydney City, ten kilometres from the CBD. The suburb is in the local government area of Ku-ring-gai Council, and must not be confused with west Pymble, which is a separate entity located close to the Lane Cove National Park.
The suburb was named after Robert Pymble, one of the region’s most powerful settlers who got large tracts of land from the grants given.
