Hurstville Central is a convenient shopping mall located in the south-west Sydney suburb of Hurstville. This shopping centre promises a fast and convenient shopping experience with some of the best food options available.

The centre’s history can be traced back to the opening of the railway station back in 1884. The station’s open-air design eventually paved the way for the opening of the Hurstville Super Centre in 1965. Following an application to build a shopping centre right above the train station, it was decided that the centre would be known as the Bowes Super Centre. This was changed midway, and the mall opened as the Hurstville Super Centre.

In the mid-2000s, the structure was in a deplorable state, which called for redevelopment in 2007. It is during this refurbishment period that the centre was made to include the supermarket chain, Coles, an upgraded concourse, along with a handful of new stores. The refurbishment was completed a year later and the establishment renamed to Hurstville Central, as it is known today.

This bustling centre is today an ideal shopping location, with various stores that offer many different products and services. It is easy to see why this is a convenient stopover while in south-west Sydney.

Shop the latest styles from My Bonny’s Fashion, before getting all your health and beauty needs at Priceline. If you are looking for fresh groceries, you’ll be spoilt for choice at Adam’s Apple Fruit and Vegetables. Alternatively, get fresh seafood at Tosca Seafood, or get a fresh cut at Station Meats.

Hurstville Central is also home to several cafes and restaurants. Take on a Chinese culinary experience at 7 Mile Chinese Taste, or head to Hong Kong Delight for a tasty meal. 18Gram Espresso and Di Pacci Espresso Bar are perfect places to grab a coffee. Other options include Lamb & Cumin, sushi 4 U and Noodle Town.

Amenities provided at Hurstville Central include ATMs, washrooms, accessible toilets, and a parents room. Ample car parking is available and is free for the first hour with any $15 purchase from the centre.
