ith an array of brilliant wineries from NSW and all over Australia, this is your opportunity to taste and purchase hundreds of premium and award-winning wines.
Enjoy a range of fresh local produce with the wide range of gourmet food stalls on offer. There will be both international and Australian cuisine to delight your taste buds, including Amsterdam pancakes, delicious French cheese platters, coffee brews, pastas and a range of premium ice creams.
There will also be produce market stalls lining the walkways with several local goodies on offer. Organic jams from Cheeky Chops Industries, olive oils from Falcon Grove, honey products from Honey Haven Mudgee, Persian Nougat, herbs, chocolate, original sweet chilli relish and sauce recipes, puddings and many more. Make sure you take a shopping basket with you, so you can stock up on all these great offers!
With over 130 wines and 30 wineries featured, the festival will certainly give you the opportunity to experience a diverse range. If you’re still thirsty or you want other refreshments, you’ll be able to drop into the Modus Operandi Craft Garden Bar. You’ll also be able to enjoy live music on the rotunda stage, featuring performances by local contemporary musicians.
This is a free event for all ages to enjoy. There will be non-stop entertainment for the little ones, from inflatable rides to farm animals. Bring your family and friends along for a gorgeous spring day full of delicious food from all around the globe.
Wahroonga is a suburb that’s located 30 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD. It’s about a 45-minute drive via the M2 or M1. It has its own train station on the North Shore line.
The Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival is an annual event that showcases various produce and wine from the Wahroonga region. The event is free of charge and open to everyone of all ages.
Come hungry, because there will be dozens of stalls on the walkways that offer a huge array of products. These include olives, olive oils, jams, cheese, handmade chocolates, beef jerky, honey, chutneys, sauces, desserts, and so much more. All the excellent food can be consumed during the festival or brought home. Wine enthusiasts can choose from over 100 wines on offer. It’s a great opportunity to taste and buy award-winning wines from the region, as well as meeting the winemakers. Cocktails and craft beers will also be available.
In between bites, there will be live music and performances by local entertainers and musicians. Kids’ activities include inflatable rides and an animal petting farm. The Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival takes place for one day every October, from 10:30AM to 5PM. Wine tasting glasses start at $20. Wahroonga Park is located near the shopping village. The venue is accessible by public transportation or on foot, depending on where you come from. If you are taking a bicycle, there is free bicycle parking within the park.
