The Manly Jazz Festival is held over the much-beloved October Labor Day long weekend in Spring each year.

The Manly Jazz Festival has an excellent line-up with more than 30 unique jazz performances by top artists and performers.


Popular venues around Manly host the many performances scheduled throughout the event and thousands of fans from all across the country come to Manly to watch the artists in action. If you love jazz music, then come and enjoy a live performance here at this popular jazz festival in Manly – a must-see event for all music lovers.

The Manly Jazz festival was first held in 1977 with a number of volunteers also join the management team to help manage and organise the event. Interested individuals are always welcome to be a part in this event, as it promotes all forms of jazz music. Novice jazz bands and musicians are always welcome to participate and showcase their talents.

Each year, the festival celebrates the icons of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong with performances honouring legends of the Jazz music scene. There will be many performances scheduled, with a number of free events. Come along and get your fill of jazz, funk, Latin, fusion, blues, gospel, swing and roots.
