Manly Jazz Festival

The internationally acclaimed Manly Jazz is known worldwide for its beautiful location and the diversity of music it presents, from traditional New Orleans jazz to funk, Latin, fusion, blues, gospel, swing and roots.

Features performances in multiple indoor and outdoor venues, including stages alongside the world-famous Manly Beach.

The first Manly Jazz was held in 1977, and many volunteers joined the management team to help manage and organise the event. Interested individuals are always welcome to participate in this event, which promotes all forms of jazz music. Novice jazz bands and musicians are also welcome to participate and showcase their talents.

Each year, the festival celebrates the icons of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong with performances honouring legends of the Jazz music scene.

There will be many performances scheduled, with several free events. Come along and get your fill of jazz, funk, Latin, fusion, blues, gospel, swing and roots.

This year, the Manly Corso and surrounding streets and laneways will come alive with music and draw thousands. Over three days and four stages, visitors will enjoy jazz and other great music from over 70 artists.

This year’s program also features an in-venue lineup, so visitors can eat, drink and relax to tunes while enjoying food and drinks from local bars and restaurants.
