The Camden Festival is held in Camden for two weeks every September, filling up the town with a diverse range of events and activities that cater to all ages. The festival celebrates Camden and all the unique attractions that it has to offer.
Some of the attractions to look forward to during the event include outdoor cinemas, picnics, a fun day for kids, lunch for seniors, as well as food and wine festivals held in various participating locations throughout Camden. Food is an integral aspect of the event, with dozens of food stalls serving up comfort food and innovative culinary delights at the TASTE Food, Wine, and Music Festival. There will also be cooking demonstrations, taste tests, and showcases of regional produce. Past events have featured celebrity chef Miguel Maestre, and baking professional Katherine Sabbath.
Attendees also look forward to the workshops, live entertainment, and activities; it’s no surprise that this is considered one of the best kid and family-friendly festivals in the country. Most of the activities are free of charge, unless otherwise specified.
Accessing the Camden Festival from Sydney is easy via the M5; there are regular bus services that connect Camden with the Campbelltown and Macarthur stations via the Cityrail network. Once here, most of the town can be explored on foot.
