Bondi Festival 2020 will not be going ahead in July as planned. Rather than cancelling the 2020 program outright, the council are planning to bring you a rescheduled and reimagined version of the Bondi Festival from 3 – 11 October 2020. Note that some of the activities listed below are subject, and bound to now change
Where is the best place to experience the magic of winter and go ice skating? The beach of course! This winter Bondi Beach hosts the Bondi Festival, which is full of beachside and winter fun entertainment.
The Bondi Festival explodes with a celebration of winter right on the beach, showing that the majestic location is a venue for all seasons!

Another fantastic experience is the Bondi Vista, a 22-metre high Ferris wheel that gives visitors spectacular 360-degree views of the beach. During the festival, there a variety of coastal walks that showcase the beauty of the seaside during winter. The magnificent beaches, fresh sea air and the sound of waves have been known to inspire, relax and delight locals and visitors alike.
The Bondi Festival program transforms the beach into a winter playground by the sea. The event also includes a variety of other attractions that involves art, culture and history. During the festival, the District Chamber of Commerce hosts “On the Streets”, which promotes a series of music and art by local talents. Visitors are also welcome to take on the free history walks to learn more about this iconic area.
