Lady Martins Beach

Lady Martins Beach is one of Point Piper’s best-kept secrets – The long narrow stretch of sand tucked away in Felix Bay is the perfect place for an exclusive dip in the Harbour.

A tour of Point Piper reveals a charming and quaint suburb.

To get to the beach, use the narrow lane that leads you past the exquisite Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club. Right between Woollahra Point and Felix Bay, the sea is never rough, making this beach a family-friendly destination.

On arrival, one of the first things that you will notice is that the beach is a long strip of white sands alongside a small jetty. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a relaxing dip, then this is the perfect location. On a good day, it is easy to find yourself all alone at the beach – indeed an idyllic place for some quiet contemplation. Part of the reason for this is that access to the beach is restricted.

Pet owners can bring along their dogs, but it is important to note that the dogs must be on a leash. What’s more, there are poles and fences strategically located along the shoreline. Visitors can tie their dog leashes to these poles while they enjoy a swim.

It is impossible to visit this beach and not enjoy the panoramic views it offers of the harbour. Soak in this majestic beauty as you play with the kids or catch up on a good book. The beach is also ideal for relaxing, so if you are looking for something to take you away from the city hustle and bustle, then Lady Martins is the place to be.

Entry is free to the general public, and the beach remains open from dawn to dusk. Use Wolseley Road until you get to the Yacht club and then follow the signage to Lady Martins Beach.
