Glen Street Theatre is a unique proscenium arch auditorium tucked away at the corner of Blackbutts Road and Glen Street in Belrose. The 400-seat auditorium is a professional venue that hosts productions by many of Australia’s leading art companies.

One of the things that you’ll notice about this theatre is its slight-fan shape design which provides superb sightlines from just about any seat in the theatre.
Some of the performing arts companies that are a regular feature at the theatre include the Sydney Theatre Company, Bell Shakespeare, Queensland Theatre Company and Melbourne’s Playbox Theatre. The State Theatre Company of South Australia is also a key contributor to the theatre, in addition to different independent production companies.
On top of theatrical performances, Glen Street Theatre is also available for venue hire. With an additional traditional proscenium arch and full lighting and sound facilities, this theatre is every performer’s dream come true.
In addition to enjoying the spacious theatre foyer, there is also a licensed bar and kiosk where patrons can get a quick bite and drinks. This is also an ideal setting for visitors to mingle before and after the show.
Glen Street Theatre is located in Belrose and can easily be accessed by public buses or car.
