Market City is Sydney’s premier outlet and bargain shopping destination; featuring an extensive selection of shops right in Chinatown. Factory outlets, as well as established shop names, can be found here.

The shops are centrally in the Chinatown and Haymarket areas, both of which are home to a diverse shopping experience right in the heart of Sydney.

There are around 30 fashion outlets here including Cotton On, Dotti, Esprit, Smiggle, and more. Shoppers can find an eclectic mix of goods, local and international brands, and one-of-a-kind finds. But what makes this retail outlet stand out from others in Sydney is that an authentic Asian flavour can be found all over.

Aside from terrific and affordable shopping, the area has a plethora of delicious dining outlets in Chinatown, particularly its superb Chinese restaurants. It’s got a fully licensed food court, fine dining outlets, plus an extensive array of food from all parts of Asia and the rest of the world.

Market City is on Hay Street in Haymarket. The best way to reach it is by car by taking Quay Street. The Wilson Parking area offers secure parking slots for more than 600 vehicles while allowing visitors to access the shops directly.

From Wednesdays to Sundays, shoppers can cross over to Paddy’s Markets from here by taking the centre lifts. Alternatively, the shops can be reached via public transportation, with easy access to train, bus, and metro light rail.
