The Aboriginal name for this reserve is ‘Wulwarrajeung’. There is an abundance of evidence of the presence of Aborigines back in the day, as there are a handful of middens and engraved rocks. This was before the leasing of the peninsula region where the reserve was eventually set up.

Visit the small lighthouse located at Robertson’s Point for stunning views of the harbour region. Strolling around the lighthouse feels like walking back in time to days when sailors were guided to shore. You may also sit and listen to the sound of the crashing waves for a relaxing way to spend the day.

If you are looking for adventure, you don’t need to go any further than the stunning Maccallum Pool located by the harbour. With its 1920s charm and character, it is impossible to imagine a better place to unwind while enjoying the natural scenery.

One of the most family-friendly aspects of Cremorne Reserve is that it features a large playground. The playground sits on the stunning foreshore with superb views of the region, making it a great meet up point for families and friends. Here, the kids can play, as adults enjoy an array of outdoor activities. Some of the features at the playground include slides, ladders, a spinning cup, as well as swings.

In addition to these features, there are shaded areas where you can sit and relax. What’s more, there are fitness stations onsite to encourage visitors to lead an active lifestyle. These stations include a recumbent bike, upper-body lifts, as well as a sit-up bench, for a great workout.

Other amenities available at Cremorne Reserve include public toilets, seating areas and picnic areas. Dogs are allowed at the reserve, but they must be kept on a leash at all times. The reserve is accessible using Milson Road.
