One of the main features at the park is the large sculpture located at the site where Tank 101 once stood. The feature is designed from panels made of curved sheets of steel that were salvaged during the demolition process. In addition to this large frame, there are also eight wind turbines constructed to trap wind power and provide energy used to light the park at night.
In addition to Tank 101, Ballast Point Park also has on display an array of local artefacts that were obtained from the Meneiva site. These artefacts are enclosed in glass to protect them from damage but are indeed a wonder to behold. A walk through the park reveals several walled areas where upcycled materials have been used, and which are enclosed by love/friendship padlocks.
Some of the amenities available at the park include walking and cycling paths, BBQ facilities, toilets, and a playground. There is also limited parking spaces available
