The Sydney Architecture Festival is an annual event that showcases not just architecture, but the most iconic establishments in Sydney and the stories behind them. The event seeks to promote a better understanding of what architecture truly means to the local community.
The NSW Architects Registration Board presents at the festival each year, and helps meet the event goals by assisting with funding research, hosting forums, and partnering with relevant organizations to create projects that increase the public’s awareness and understanding of architecture.
The carefully-curated program of events is comprised of exhibits, tours, and talks on various aspects of architecture. Local and international keynote speakers will be presenting interesting talks, sharing information on valuable stories behind great buildings in Sydney.
The Sydney Architecture Festival is held over four days at the Sydney Opera House. One-day and multi-day passes are available.
