The Sounds of the Suburbs is an over 18’s music event which showcases some of the best raw Australian talent as well as new international acts.
Held at the Sutherland Carpark behind the Sutherland Entertainment Centre, right near Sutherland Station.
Each year there are some fantastic musical acts including local and international artists playing all kinds of music including DJ’s, indi bands, grunge, rock, electronica and house music. Inside the festival there will be heaps of food and drink available for sale, so you can sit down and listen to the live music as you enjoy a cold beverage and a hot meal.
The whole carpark is blocked off for this fantastic festival, so make sure to bring your ID, as it will be required to gain entry. There are no pass outs at the festival and there will be ample facilities inside the event including toilets and an ATM. BYO alcohol is not permitted, nor are professional cameras and video recorders. Please leave cans, glass bottles, knives and metal containers at home. Bag searches will be conducted prior to entry.
The best way to get to the Sounds of the Suburbs Festival is to take public transport. Catch a train from Central Station and alight at Sutherland Station. The Sutherland Entertainment Centre is a just a short walk from the station.
