Sculpture at Scenic World

Sculpture at Scenic World is an event spread across five weekends in Katoomba in April/May each year.

Local, national and international artists exhibit their work over a 2.4-kilometre rainforest walkway at Scenic World in the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains. These artists create an outdoor gallery that everyone can enjoy!

You’ll find subtle pieces of art that blend seamlessly into the natural environment, as well as bolder items that provide a stark contrast. There’s bound to be something that suits your taste.

You’ll also get a chance to vote in the ‘People’s Choice Award’, which is one of a number of cash prize awards that are presented to artists at the end of the event. The exhibiting artists also run free workshops that include activities and demonstrations of how to create works of art. These workshops are suitable for all ages, so they can be a great family activity. You can also take advantage of guided tours that are provided by knowledgeable exhibition staff.
