Oztoberfest is Sydney’s answer to the worldwide Oktoberfest celebrations originating in Munich, Germany. Although most think that the event will only be full of beer, there will be many diverse attractions and food for all to enjoy.
Beer and barbecue will be abundant throughout the event, as well as traditional German food, cider, schnapps, and dishes from all around the world. German folk bands will play music, and live music performances from local artists will contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of the event. Attendees who come in costume have a chance to earn cash in prizes. The event will also include attractions for kids, such as carnival and camel rides, and fireworks at night. Don’t miss out on the collectors’ glasses which will be on sale.
Penrith Paceway will host the event; it’s located at 141-147 Station Street, Penrith, New South Wales.
The Royal Sydney Oktoberfest is the city’s premier Oktoberfest event. It boasts of an extensive beer list featuring more than 50 German beers as well as wine, cider, schnapps, spirits, and much more.

There will be folk dancing, German oompah bands, and exciting on-stage competitions too!
