The Roaring 20s Festival in Sydney is a celebration of all things 1920’s through luxurious high teas, extravagant balls, music, vintage vehicles, and more. It takes place in conjunction with the All That Jazz Festival during February.
The month-long event takes place in several venues throughout Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. Roaring twenties style will be evident in all the participating venues including the elegant ballrooms. Activities during the event include blues and jazz performances, high tea, historical walks, dinner shows, long lunches, and more. Come in the best 20’s outfit you have, the more feathers, the better.
Getting to the Roaring 20s Festival is easy thanks to the close proximity of Blue Mountains to the Sydney CBD. The most convenient way to get here is to take a car via Glenstone/Lapstone, which takes around 50 minutes from Sydney. Once here, just follow the signs leading to Parramatta; the M4 Motorway begins at Strathfield then takes you to Lapstone within the Blue Mountain. The Blue Mountains can also be reached via coach and train.
