Narrabeen Lakes Festival is held each year early in the month of December. The two-day summer event is free to the public, and is held in a lakeside location in Narrabeen.
All ages are welcome to attend the festivities. There will be more than 140 market stalls selling an extensive range of food from around the world, desserts, baked goods, fresh produce, refreshments, clothing, arts and crafts, plants, and more. It will also feature displays from various local groups. Bands, solo artists, and singers fill the weekend with live music.
The venue may change, so be sure to check on the updated location for this year’s Narrabeen Lakes Festival. In 2018, it was held along the banks of the Narrabeen Lagoon. Most of the attractions and entertainment are outdoors, but there will be covered entertainment areas where visitors can relax and unwind. Festivities start on Saturday at 9:30AM to 9:15PM, and Sunday from 10AM to 4:30PM.
Narrabeen is located 23 kilometers northeast of Sydney. It’s a 40-minute drive from the Sydney CBD via the Wakehurst Parkway.
