Ballet Under The Stars is an annual community program of the Australian Ballets. The free outdoor event showcases world-class ballet performances in the parklands of Penrith Lakes. This cultural presentation is open to all ages.
Attendees will be treated to renditions of well-loved ballet classics. Since the venue is in the outdoors, it is recommended to come early to reserve a good spot. Seating will be unreserved, so bring your own rug or picnic blanket, cushions, and low beach chairs but please be mindful of the people behind you and avoid bringing seats that are too high as this will make it difficult for them to watch the performance. Before the main show, patrons will be treated to a pre-show program, as well as entertainment for children and adults alike.
The gates will open at 3:30PM, providing enough time for attendees to unwind before the 7PM performance. Attendees should take note of the items prohibited in the venue: bottles, glass, cans, takeaway food, and recording equipment. Bag searches will be conducted at the gates, and any prohibited items shall be confiscated. The venue will provide food and beverages sold in several stalls for the duration of the event.
