The safari involves going through different bridges whose combination with the zip lines makes the experience a mixture of calm and exhilaration all at once. The best part about this is that you have unobstructed views of the region’s natural scenery. The guides will also chine in with conversation on how to take care of the environment and prevent its destruction.
The highlight of this safari experience is the culmination using the longest flying fox in the country – at a whopping 360 metres! Add to this the awarding of an achievement certificate and the inclusion as part of the ambassador program and it is easy to see why this safari is a perfect way to enjoy what Australia nature has to offer.
Another important thing to note is that in line with the environmental preservation, all participants in the TreeTop Safari are given a stainless-steel water bottle that one can take home with them. This way, participants get to play a role in the conservation of the environment even after the tour. This is in addition to the interpretative information about the region’s wildlife and historical significance.
The tours last approximately two hours, so it helps to wear comfortably and apply sunscreen. Remember to wear sturdy enclosed shoes ahead of the tour. While there are no skills required prior to the tour, visitors are encouraged to come with an open mind and a knack for adventure. TreeTop Safari provides safety and training equipment prior to the tours.
TreeTop Safari remains open on all days except on Christmas Day and during extremely harsh weather conditions.
