The quickest way to get to Taronga Zoo is by public transport as it is located just 12 minutes from Circular Quay by ferry or a short bus/train trip from the city or North Sydney. Ferries depart Circular Quay every 30 minutes.
Facilities at Taronga Zoo include free Wi-fi, cafes, ATMs, first aid, lockers, parents room, picnic areas and stroller hire. Taronga Zoo is on a site of 28 hectares and is linked by a pathway that is quite steep in areas. But those with disabilities should note that more than 95% of Taronga’s animal displays are wheelchair viewable.
